[:en]Now we are back home again after a three-week trip to Congo-Kinshasa. The trip went well and we have accomplished a lot. We started our stay with reviewing all of our operations to ensure that everything works as it should. We met the children at our nursery school and all of our sports teams in football, ju-jutsi and boxing. We also met with the staff of our hospital and the women who gave birth at our hospital. We also visited our water wells that we built in December 2014 and talked with the woman who is responsible for them. Then we continued to hand out everything we brought with us.
We took with us Solvatten (safe water cleaning system) which we will use to clean the water from the water wells we have built. They will be of great use, particularly in our hospital that lack clean water. Even if the water looks clean to the naked eye as it contains various parasites which can lead to various diseases. Therefore safe water cleaning system will be highly appreciated in Malueka where we work.
We also brought glasses that we received from Specsavers and equipment for eye examination that we received from the Synoptics. Malueka is a very poor suburb of Kinshasa. There, people can not afford to do vision screenings or to buy glasses. Therefore, we now offer them the opportunity to do this totally free.
We also handed out sports equipment to our football clubs for boys and girls that we have received from Vallentuna BK, Floby IF, Falköping United and Tesco UK. We also distributed the equipment for our Ju-Jutsiteam we received from Team Leites Stockholm. We also handed out equipment to our preschool that we visited to hand out diplomas because the children have been good, and completed its first year of preschool.

Nu är vi hemma igen efter en tre veckor lång resa till Kongo-Kinshasa. Resan gick bra och vi har fått mycket uträttat. Vi började vår vistelse med att se över alla våra verksamheter för att se så att allt fungerar som det ska. Vi träffade barnen på vår förskola och alla våra idrottslag inom fotboll, ju-jutsi och boxning. Vi träffade även personalen på vårt sjukhus samt de kvinnor som fött barn där sedan vi startade sjukhuset. Vi besökte också våra brunnar som vi byggde december 2014 och pratade med kvinnan som ansvarar för dessa. Sedan fortsatte vi med att dela ut allt som vi tagit med oss.
Vi tog med oss solvattenbehållare som vi ska använda för att rena vattnet från de brunnar vi byggt. De kommer att komma väl till användning, speciellt vid vårt sjukhus som saknar rent vatten. Även om vattnet ser rent ut med blotta ögat så innehåller det olika parasiter som kan leda till olika sjukdomar. Därför var solvattenbehållarna mycket uppskattade i Malueka där vi arbetar.
Vi tog även med oss glasögon som vi fått från Specsavers samt utrustning för synundersökning som vi fått från Synoptik. Malueka är en mycket fattig förort till Kinshasa. Där har befolkningen ej råd att göra synundersökningar eller att köpa glasögon. Därför erbjuder vi nu dem möjligheten att göra detta helt kostnadsfritt.
Vi har även överlämnat sportutrustning till våra fotbollsklubbar för killar och tjejer som vi har fått från Vallentuna BK, Floby IF, Falköping United och Tesco UK. Vi delade även ut utrustning till vårt Ju-Jutsiteam som vi fått från Team Leites Stockholm. Vi tog även att ta med utrustning till vår förskola som vi besökte för att dela ut diplom eftersom barnen har varit duktiga och genomfört sitt första år på förskolan.
Vi vill tacka alla som har gett oss allt material som vi tog med oss och även alla som stöttar oss ekonomiskt på olika sätt, utan er skulle allt detta inte vara möjligt.
